Vintage Chinese Shard Box, Birds & Flowers, hold jewelry, money, trinkets. 1980's or Earler 7.75" top to bottom and appx. 5.75" wide. It is appx. 4" tall at the highest point. The porcelain/pottery piece apepars to be a fase with flowers and four different birds, two floating on water. Orange, shades of green, yellow, black and gray are the main colors. This is framed in a silver tone metal and lined on the back of the pottery piece. There are raised images in bands on the frame of the box. There is some chnges to the metal and it will need a good polishing. This came from an estate where it had likely been stored in a basementor situation where it was just tuckied away. It is not cracked and ot herwise conditionally good other than the cleaning that would be recommended. It is not signed or marked. These were popular earlier but also in the 1980's too. Age is unknown but estimated - could be older. This is also larger than many I've seen. This is heavy and will need to be shipped priority. (W1124.4X9 SS12960 J LD 1/14/24 PS14).
