A steel helmet for paratroopers, 1st modelThe skull painted in field-grey, with four slits on the side for the original straps and three unsealed holes for the old lining. 50 % of the Luftwaffe eagle and 40 % of the national decal still preserved. The maker's stamp "ET" for Thale Iron Works on the inside, along with the size "68" and illegible batch number "166"(?). The converted M 38 lining attached with four two-hole screws, leather liner, light rubber padding, aluminium inner ring and straps, desiccated with considerable defects. Extremely rare find.Condition: II - III
