An Indian bone-inlaid cabinet casket, circa 1800Rosewood, bone. On four ball feet. Rectangular wooden body with fine geometrical inlays: stars, lozenges, and circles. The edges trimmed with bone applications. Bronze handle at top. Fold-down front, revealing eight small drawers, also decorated with inlays. The obverse with openwork brass keyhole escutcheon. Including key. Minor losses. Dimensions 22 x 25.5 x 21 cm.Condition: II -
