An Austrian silver bonbonnière, designed by Eduard Josef Wimmer-Wisgrill (1882-1961) for the Wiener Werkstätte, model number 'S 2977', of oval form, the hinged cover embossed with stylised seed heads and lozenges, with a beadwork border and thumbpiece, the interior gilt, and inscribed 'Don't take too much! J.C.L.', stamped marks on either side of the hinge and the base, 10cm wide 7cm deep 2cm high Condition Report: Some of the definition is worn to the cover, marks to the back and the base are worn. Some dents to the base of the piece.
