Subject matter includes roster for Santa Fe and Frisco quantity of locomotives owned, equipment rosters for Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe, Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, and St. Louis?San Francisco Railway, records of locomotives, passenger cars and freight cars along with the valuation of this equipment, statement of engine mileage, notes on engines requiring specific maintenance and upgrades, employee numbers at various locations including Galveston, Houston, and Dallas, 1896 employee payrolls for the Galveston shops, names and addresses, and more. Lots of high level railroad information and on the first page the name Elijah Hancock can be faintly read. Photos show the shops at Topeka in 1900 along with the depot. Two larger photos are shop photos but unmarked, assuming they may be at the same location as the Topeka shops. Shows general signs of age with discoloration and edge wear.
