Description
An early 20th century Rookwood Art Pottery lamp base decorated by Sara Sax. Features a tapered Vellum vase with grape vine design on a Blue ground with engraved Brass mounts. Impressed Rookwood mark, Roman numerals "XIV" (1919) shape "907", "V" (Vellum glaze) and "SX" artist monogram. Overall crazing, some wear to patina on mounts. Vase is 12" high, 25 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
