Group of ten original binders for the Buehrig 2000 concept vehicle from Buehrig Motor Car Company. The Buehrig 2000 was a joint venture between Gordon Buehrig and Richard Kughn. The car was designed to compete with the compact and fuel efficient vehicles being designed in the late 1970's and early 1980's. These binders cover the five patents that were issued to Buehrig for the design of the vehicle. Each binder is 92 pages and also includes the assignment page of half interest in each patent to Richard Kughn.We do not believe that a full scale prototype of this car was ever produced, but these binders provide an inside look at the thought process of renown designer Gordon Buehrig as he attempted to design a radically different modern car.Items in this lot are from the Richard Kughn estate and a part of the Carail collection.
