Peter Maier original painting of the Buehrig Motor Car from the Buehrig Motor Car Company which was co-owned by Gordon Buehrig and Richard Kughn. Maier's painting depicts a concept Buehrig car of which only a small number of prototypes were ever built.The painting measures approximately 35 1/2" x 24" Likely the painting is actually 36" wide but is obscured by some of the matting. The frame measures 53" x 43" and shows some corner wear and chipping. The lower edge of the matte also shows some very faint discoloration, but the painting is unaffected.Items in this lot are from the Richard Kughn estate and a part of the Carail collection.
