The writer Orazio Lombardelli (1545-1608) was a private teacher and, from 1598, a lecturer at the episcopal seminary in Siena.
He wrote numerous works of grammatical, stylistic and morally edifying content, for example about peace of mind and comfort in difficult times, about friendship and about the duties of married women.
Leaf F1 (pp. 121-122) is missing. Otherwise good condition
library stamp and manuscript ownership note on the title.
On the title above the older name stamp from the early 20th century "Bibliotheca Camaldulendium Nolae" (Camaldolese monastery)
