Vintage Painted Miami , Florida Brooch, Souvenir , 1940's-1950's. Oval 1.75" wide and .75" tall. It is on a lacquered either mother-of-pearl or heavy plastic base. it is hard to tell due to the lacquering. A beach scene of palm treets and a sunrise or sunset looking out on to the water is painted on to the top of this in appealing colors. The colors really date this to mid-century. C-clasp. It is in good condition for the age of this piece. The painting is not worn. The lacquer has some crazing. A great vintage souvenir piece for the collector. It is not signed or marked.
