A pair of feminine vintage Van Cleef & Arpels earrings, made of platinum and 18 karat yellow gold, featuring ruby and diamond.
These vintage VCA earrings were designed with top-notch quality in mind. Note an amazing open work and the details of the generously decorated platinum mounting. Nine oval rubies are staged around a cluster set center diamonds. Smaller surrounding diamonds are half-bezel set. The gemstones form an amazing lacy floral design. A splash of the bright colored rubies is beautifully underlined with whiteness of platinum and diamonds.
These Van Cleef platinum vintage earrings are a rare find and a great example of the VCA excellent craftsmanship.
These vintage Van Cleef earrings are made of platinum, 18 karat yellow gold and set with eighteen oval faceted rubies (total weight is approximately 5.40 carats) and sixty-six round brilliant cut diamonds (F-G color, VVS clarity, total weight approximately 3.12 carats).
Made in France, circa 1980s.
The vintage earrings are stamped with the Van Cleef & Arpels maker's mark, hallmarks for 18k gold and platinum, serial number, French hallmarks for 18 karat gold.
These vintage Van Cleef & Arpels earrings measure 7/8" x 7/8" and weigh 25.1 grams 1/16" (2 mm).
