Five total maps on one large, double-page sheet. Also includes (1) – Topographical Plan of the City and Battle Field of Baton Rouge, La., fought on the 5th of August, 1862; (2) Map of the Battle of Perrville, Ky., Gen. Don Carlos Buell, Union Commander; Gen. Braxton Bragg, Confederate Commander, October 8, 1862; (4) Map of the Battle Field of Perryville, Ky., Maj. Gen. L. Polk commanding Confederate forces; and (5) Sketch showing the positions of the Attacking and Defending forces at the Siege of Washington, N. C., March 29 to April 16, 1863.
Issued to accompany the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies. 1861-1865. Published 1891 by Julius Bien. The publication of this work was the most comprehensive compilation of maps of the Civil War. Printed in five colors. Clean and sharp. Extremely light toning to centerfold. 16.5 x 27.25
