Long, and the captivity among the Indians of Nootka Sound of John Jewitt. The double-page map, copyrighted by S.G. Goodrich, is noted by Wheat as "A copy (much simplified) of 1822 Tanner"; it covers the western half of North America, from southern California to Vancouver Island, including Mexico. Condition
Rubbing and extremity wear to boards, spine worn and tender, front joint cracked; some soiling and foxing within, overall very good, rare in the original boards.
