Original large folio Currier & Ives print “A Midnight Race on The Mississippi”. This is an iconic title when it comes to Currier & Ives prints. Known as an old and new best 50 large folio print. This one is in very nice condition with some minor marginal stains and short marginal tear repairs that don’t go into the image. Retains beautiful bright original color. It shows more margins under the mat as can be seen in the last few pictures. The sheet measures 22” by 31 1/2”, 1 3/4” side and top margins and 2” bottom. This print would make an excellent addition to your collection.
