Vintage Sterling Purple Quartz Necklace, 16", Mid-Century. The clasp is marked sterling and the chain also tests as sterling. Weight is appx. .82 gr., not including the pendant which is made up of two nuggets that are polished and slightly over 1/2" to and and appx. 5mm tall. the one quartz piece hade residue which may have been glue - I was able to remove most of it and fine as is, but more cleaning could be done if desired. The chain is appx. 1mm wide. Spring clasp where it is marked sterling - some tarnish but mostly on the clasp. It is not signed by the maker. Age is istimated at 1940's-1950's on the chain and the pendant is likely more 1960's. (W81620.8 SS12989 J LD 2/25/24).
