About the artist: Born on August 3, 1931, in the village of Kushnikov (Chuvashia). He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin (1958). Painter. He created portraits, landscapes, still lifes, genre paintings. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1964). He worked as the head of the artist’s amateur performance studio Kafa (Feodosia). Participated in exhibitions: republican and all-union (since 1962). Personal exhibitions - in the city of Feodosia (Crimea, 1996, 2001-2002), Simferopol (2003). Major works: “White Self-Portrait” (1971), “Christmas” (1973), “Apotheosis of Cezanne” (1974), “Portrait of a Mother with the Icon of the Mother of God” (1978), “Carnival” (1971-1979), “In the Garden "(1961)," 1919 "(1964)," Kiss "," In Front of the Mirror "," Autumn Karabakh "(1966)," Lenin Says "(1967)," White Self-Portrait "(1971)," Carnival "(1979 ), “A house with buttresses. Twilight "," Before a Thunderstorm. Quarantine "(1985)," Karaite settlement. Fontanny Lane ”,“ Echo of Past Centuries ”(1986),“ Mufti-Jami Mosque in the Winter ”(1988),“ V. Zarubin "(1991)," Yabloko "(1992)," Crimean pine "," Old Crimea. Poplar "(1993). The works are stored in the Feodos Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts in Nalchik (Kabardino-Balkaria).
