Vintage Sterling Amethyst & Pearl Necklace, 1980's-1990's. 18". This has freshwater ovalish pearls that are appx. 6.5mm by 5.5mm and round appx. 3.5mm - that is an average as they are slightly different. The amethyst beads areappx. 4mm wide. The chain is made of alternating pearls and amethysts and then twisting the wiring to create the chain. It is 18" end-to-end with a lobster clsp and extender chain on the other end with a pearl drop. The clasp and chain extender chain test as sterling as does the handmade chain between the amethysts and pearls. Total weight of the necklace is appx. 11.74 gr. It is in very good condition other than some oxidation that can be polished away - do not soak the pearls in a silver cleaner. This is not signed by the maker. (W2423.1X1 SS11679 J LD 8/22/23).
