A GROUP OF BLANC-DE-CHINE WARES
17th/18th century
Comprising: a pair of Buddhist lion joss stick holders; a group of a scholar and attendant; a religious group depicting two angels flanking a shrine; a qilin joss stick holder; a small Buddhist lion group; and another of a figure riding a qilin.
The largest 12.7cm (5in) long. (7).

The figure of the scholar and attendant is closely related to a figure from Baiyi Temple date by inscription to the 5th year of Chongzhen (1632), illustrated in Transactions of the Oriental Ceramic Society, Vol. 69, 2004-5, p. 103, Fig. 10.

Some chips and losses to extremities.
