A GREEN-GLAZED VASE AND A CIZHOU 'FLORAL' VASE
Northern Dynasties and Jin Dynasty
The first with broad rounded body and waisted neck, encircled by ribbed bands, rising to a dish-shaped mouth, the shoulder applied with six faceted handles, covered in a pale olive hued glaze; the second fluidly painted in brown on white slip with foliate pendants and a flower spray, a two-line inscription to the reverse.

Condition
General old wear and firing imperfections.
The olive glazed vase: 2cm shallow chip, mostly to the mouth rim interior. Three areas of overpainting at the rim - 0.7cm to 3cm. Three patches of overpainting to the lower body covering glaze chips, 2cm. wide max.
The Cizhou vase: Surface wear, pits, flaking and imperfections. Surface hairline running down from the shoulder
