Each of baluster form, with a trumpet neck, with a ruyi head band below the rim, decorated with a continuous scene depicting Gengzhi tu-inspired scenes of rice planting, hunting, animal husbandry and scholarly meetings within a mountainous landscape filled with pines, the shoulders set with dragon-form handles, the interiors enamelled turquoise, the base unglazed.

One vase has a 17cm hairline from the rim, with rivet repairs. The other has a 2cm hairline from the rim and a loss to the end of both handles. Minor surface scratching, wear and firing flaws.
