Description
A LONGQUAN CELADON 'TRIGRAMS' INCENSE BURNER
Ming Dynasty, 14th/15th century
Raised on three beast mask feet, the shallow rounded sides relief decorated with the Eight Trigrams, framed within borders of rosette bosses, the unglazed interior centre with a moulded geometric pattern medallion, burnt orange in the firing, with later wood stand carved as three overlapping ruyi sceptres.
