Chinese Ming Dynasty Alum Red White Flowers Porcelain Moon Flat Vase. The porcelain potted in moon vase, flat globular moon lower belly, emerging ruyi flanked on the straight cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against alum red fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years of Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
