Chinese Ming Dynasty Peacock Blue Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, thick and round lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Warm and uniform blue glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Sgrafitto with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
