Description
An antique iron and wood hinged stagecoach strongbox executed by Vanderman Manufacturing Co., Willimantic, CT. Accompanied by an antique Eagle six-lever padlock, a C.O.A. issued by Ellis Props and Graphics certifying that this "Vintage metal strongbox was used in various Hollywood movies circa 1930s-1960s," a typed letter under the letterhead of Toledo, St. Louis, and Western Railroad Co., and a typed letter under the letterhead of Detroit and Toledo Shore Line Railroad Co. From a New Jersey estate. Dimensions: strongbox measures approx. 26.50" w x 15" d x 14" h.
