A Chinese blue and white 'three friends of winter' bowl
Daoguang period, Qing dynasty
Body of bowl is decorated with bamboo, pine, and plum blossom motifs nestled between sleek border lines near rim and on side of foot. With six-character Daoguang mark to underside.
H: 2 5/8, Dia: 5 1/4 in. (H: 6.67, Dia: 13.34 cm.)
Provenance: From Mrs. Lee, Davis, California. A family heirloom. Lot 1 to 5, Lot 36 to 82, and Lot 214 to 219 are from the same collector.
