Original boards (worn, detached), cloth chemise, slipcase. Provenance: Lady Augusta Murray (1768-180, illegitimately married to Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, sixth son of King George III, inscribed); J. Montgomery Sears(bookplate). First edition in original boards. Owner’s note: Freiligrath Library - presumably Ferdinand Freiligrath (1810-1876) - friend of Longfellow.
