Shuzan (Japanese, 19th/early 20th C.) Meiji Era Bronze Sculpture, Ca. 1900, Nihonzaru with Pipe, H 5.5" W 5" | Seal signed on the underside. Depicting a Japanese macaque seated with a pipe to his mouth and an inro in the other hand. Dark patina with a lighter brown face. Well detailed with a heavy feel.
