It holds all but 2 of the wood blocks which leads me to believe that it was made for these wood blocks. Contains: 34 double sided blocks each measuring 1 ½” in length and width. Has the complete alphabet and numbers from 1-9. Has 8 extra blocks with numbers 1,2,3,5,6,7,9,and letters A,B,C,E,F,G,R,I. Also has 2 & symbol blocks. The back side of the complete alphabet has the letters S.T.U.V.W.X.Y.Z.&,H,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q and numbers 1-9. This is the best condition set you will likely ever find – some of the original sets like these were 18 blocks, but someone over the years must have collected a complete set. There are 18 red and 15 natural colored wood blocks. I have looked and have not found another set like these and only one similar.
