An oval cabochon opal and diamond cluster pendant, with a large oval cabochon opal, 13.50 x 17.00mm, claw set in yellow gold, encircled by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds, with four larger stones at the cardinal points, all claw set to a white gold mount with an ornate pierced verso. An oval dark background is applied to the back of the mount. Pendant measurements 30mm x 21mm. Suspended on a silver chain. 7.59g Condition Report: Appears to be in unworn condition, with light surface scratches to the opal and the mount. The black backing seen through the back of the pendant is not applied to the opal itself but to the pendant mount only. Opal weight stated as 7.45ct Combined diamond weight approx. 0.60 - 0.70ct
