One plaque from The Seven Ages of Man series

glazed and gilt earthenware
10.25 h x 20.5 w in (26 x 52 cm)

The Seven Ages of Man series, comprised of seven plaques in its entirety, depicts the character Jaques from William Shakespeare's As You Like It at seven different stages of life.

Signed to lower left corner 'H.S. Marks.'.

This work will ship from Lambertville, New Jersey.
Condition
Not examined outside of frame. Work is in very good condition with light wear to gilt details. Frame exhibits light scuffs and abrasions mainly to edges. Presents well. Framed without glazing measuring 12 x 22 x 1 inches. Wire hanger to verso for wall installation.
