Rebacked, preserving the original spines, some wear, browning to spine and boards, later endleaves, some foxing, soiling to text. With a previous owner’s (most likely 20th century) pencil notes on the front blanks of each volume. Very good. FIRST EDITION OF THIS CONTROVERSIAL PRO-NAPOLEON TITLE.
