Description
This very fine example of a WWII German gold party pin has a center of opaque white and black enamel with translucent red enamel. The center is surrounded by a golden wreath of oak leaves. The reverse has its original pin and is marked “GES. GESCH. DESCHLER & SOHN MUNCHEN 9. 3166”. CONDITION: there is virtually no damage to any of the enamel and little wear to the gold plating. PROVENANCE: from the collection of Joel Thone. (02-22531-1/BF). $1,800-2,500.
