A Miami Seaquarium tie-dye t-shirt, dyed and worn by The Lovin' Spoonful founder, John Sebastian.

The t-shirt features a yellow, blue, and green central spiral pattern with a touch of pink along each bottom corner and sleeve trim. "Miami Seaquarium" is printed on the front in green lettering. No size or label present. Please note: holes and fraying present from age and use.

In the late 1960s, Sebastian acquired the shirt from an acquaintance who once trained dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium, a dolphinarium in Miami, Florida that opened in 1955, infamous for numerous animal welfare issues relating to their captive dolphins and whales. He wore this, and the "Dolphin Project" t-shirt also offered in this sale, as a symbol for change, in support of the Dolphin Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of dolphins.

Sebastian was photographed wearing the top in 1969 while walking alongside wife Catherine "Ceci" at the 46-acre artistic community near Studio City called "The Farm."
