A custom-made David Dalrymple for Feild New York ensemble, including a catsuit, belt, and platform boots worn by Britney Spears during her 2001-02 "Dream Within A Dream Tour," performing the number "Overprotected." This tour costume was also used for the televised concert special Britney Spears Live from Las Vegas (HBO, 2001)

A painted bronze and silver-colored spandex catsuit with faceted emerald cut-style sequins, complete with a low-rise belt and a pair of platform boots. The catsuit has grey, silver, and bronze coloring that appears to be airbrushed. Design components include piping, pleating at the shoulders, interior wrists, upper and lower legs, and top stitching at the torso. There are zippers at the wrists, legs, and the center front, which unzips to the bust. The catsuit has a velcro closure at the back that goes from the neck to the lower back. There are two labels present, David Dalrymple, for Field New York and House of Field, but no size tag is present. The belt is spandex as well with pleating, sequin embellishments, velcro closure, and compartments for mic-packs. The leather wedge platform boots are painted matching the jumpsuit with rubber tread.

Spears worked with the famed stylist duo Kurt and Bart, who styled her for this tour. Kurt and Bart worked with Dalrymple on several stage-worn looks, including her iconic Swarovski nude illusion ensemble for her "Oops I Did it Again..." performance at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2000.

Spears recalls this tour and this specific number in her memoir The Woman in Me, she writes, "'The Dream Within a Dream Tour,' right after my album Britney came out in the fall of 2001, was my fourth tour and one of my favorites. Every night onstage, I battled a mirror version of myself, which felt like it was probably a metaphor for something [...] The set and the costumes were so clever. When someone knew just how to style me, I was always grateful. They are shrewd about how they presented me as a star, and I know that I owe them. They captured me as an artist. The minds behind that tour were brilliant. It was by far my best tour."

The property comes with a signed COA and a copy of Britney Spears' memoir The Woman In Me, Spears is photographed in the outfit for the interior cover image.
