Vintage Carved Nephrite Pendant Beaded Necklace, 22", Chunky. The carved nephrite is slightly over 1.5" wide and 1" tall including the carved double bail. It has a flower on the ftont and nothing on the back. It has a beveled edge - rustic polishing - smoothy but not real shiny. There are what appear to be either a quartz short barrel bead or glass beads - slightly cloudy with a white/pale green look and are appx. 2.8mm wide. There are other green stone beads that are faceted or shaped. A jasper style that is appx.6mm and two larger on each sidethat are angled and appx. 14mm wide. At the top are green beads that are the same shape as the ones on the bottom. Toward the bottom are elongated oblong beads that are appx. 35mm long and 14mm t hick They have black veining and other markings inside the bead , They test as stone. There are also small lapis be ads and black glass beads at the clasp. Age is uncertain but sometime in the 1900's - likely after 1960's. Slight tribal look. The center bottom half of the necklace has a triple strand of the white-ish beads - the top is a single strand. Very good rustic condition. Not signed or marked. (W31123.1X6 SS10004 J LD 3/15/23).
