America, 19th century. A letter concerning affairs with Henry Hanna from 1835.

Moderate foxing and a large stain near embossed seal; creases are well-intact.

Henry Hanna (1812-1905) was a notable Cincinnati industrialist, philanthropist, and financier. He owned many of the most valuable business blocks in the city, was president of the Little Miami Railroad Company and Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, and funded construction of The University of Cincinnati’s Hanna Hall.
