Description UPDATE: Caliber is .38-56.Winchester 1886 chambered in .38-55 Winchester with a tube magazine and a 26" octagonal barrel. Manufactured in 1894 with serial number 86485. Blued barrel, magazine tube, loading gate, bolt, and trigger. In the white case colored frame, lever, and hammer. Smooth wood forend and straight stock with crescent butt plate. Tang mounted rear peep sight and fixed front blade. Antique ships directly to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique Very Good with the blued parts showing varying amounts of patina, some finish loss, and sharp edge wear. The case colored parts and the butt plate are in the white with most of the finish being lost. Varying spots of metal oxidation and pitting on most of the metal parts. The wood appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point only showing some light scratches and dings. Bright bore with strong rifling, mostly clean with some light spots of metal oxidation.
