SSP. A rare and desirable example of this C. 1940's single sided porcelain sign from Bell Public Telephones featuring the iconic bell graphic on each end with wonderful color and shelving. CONDITION: The sign retains good gloss but shows surface scratches throughout the field with areas of discoloration in the white sections of the sign. There has been touch up added to this sign in various areas in both the graphics and the extreme outer edges. This piece is in a wood frame that is age appropriate and but not likely original to the sign. The extreme outer edges of the sign are concealed by the wood frame. A rare and desirable example.
