Description
Group of three vintage Gilbert Electrical Engineering Sets No. 11039, each housed in its original box. Classic mid-century science kit graphics decorate the lids, with interiors illustrating components for electromagnetism, motor building, intercom systems, space signaling, remote control, instrumentation, computer switching, and other electrical experiments. All three sets include assorted original parts such as magnetic elements, battery units, wiring, metal brackets, wheels, lamps, and molded chassis components. Some pieces appear to be missing. Boxes show age-related wear including edge tears, split corners, and surface abrasions consistent with period handling. Interiors vary by set, with parts present as shown in the photographs. Boxes each measure approx. 25 x 17 x 2 inches. These sets have not been collated for completeness and are being sold with what is shown. From the remarkable lifetime Collection of Michael Kent.
