Description

Cased antique surveyor's transit by C.L. Berger & Sons, Boston being Serial number 13619 (circa 1920's). Wood case measures 11" (deep) x 10"(wide) x 16.5" (high). Case contains transit and plumb bob. Interior of box also contains numerous cards indicating when instrument was calibrated. Telescope measures 11" in length. Transit is accompanied by tripod.
