Cal. 357 Mag. S# 11444. Bbl. 4". Python double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1960. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's single line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a polished blue finish overall, save for on the top strap of the frame and bbl., which are matte blued. Sides of the hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt gold medallion checkered wood grips. V/R bbl. with pinned blade front sight and adj. square notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame and cyl. crane. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, showing areas of mild edge wear, as well as some small scratches and superficial handling marks overall. Cyl. shows mild edge wear and spots of wear that are fading to gray patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting scattered small spots of extremely light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as some scattered superficial marks and minor impressions, with the left panel exhibiting a grain check and the right panel exhibiting a crack. (25-5418/MLW).
