Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .357 MAGNUM", with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 2-line patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Frame and loading gate exhibit a case colored finish, with remaining metal components exhibiting a blue finish. Sides are hammer are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece aftermarket faux pearl and black synthetic grips, marked "55" and "OLD MODEL/ Colt Single Action Army" in white ink on the interior of the panels. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, cyl., as well as the grip straps (left side, beneath grip panel). Frame and loading gate do not have matching assembly #s. CONDITION: frame and loading gate retain trace to fair amounts of their original case colored finish, with the balance exhibiting wear and fading to gray patina, as well as scattered spots of age related discoloration. Blued parts retain large amounts of their original finish, showing areas of wear and thinning, scattered scratches and superficial marks, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
