Ernest Posey (1937-2007) New Orleans. RARE Lithograph Signed lower left. Dated: 1983 15 / 30 Title: Primo Dimension: Sheet: 22 14 x 15" Art Site: 7 5/8 x 7 5/8". KLP embossed lower right in paper. Posey was an abstract artist with a degree in Fine Arts and Architecture. First solo exhibit 1966 at Henri Gallery Washington DC. 1968 solo exhibit at Galeria Van der Voort in SF followed by dozens of exhibits: The Palace of the Legion of Honor, Allrich Gallery, Kay Kimpton Gallery. He was chairman of the Department of FIne Arts SF Academy of Art Museum. Collections in SF Moma, Oakland Museum, New Orleans Musuem, Santa Barbara Museum, Achenbach Collection, Chase Manhattan Collection. Retail originals $7000 - $9500.
