Terrell Rig Teal Pair
St. Clair Flats, c. 1870
11 1/2 in. long

The undersides of both hollow carvings display "J. Terrell" brands. They both have highly distinct cheek carving and painted eyes. The turned-head posture is dramatic and rare.
Appears to be original paint with even gunning wear. Small area of gunning touch-up to bottom of straight-head's breast.
