Porter Rig Mallard

18 in. long

A grand hollow carving in the Philadelphia School style with a "J. H. Porter" brand on the underside. There is an inlaid head, pinched breast, and paint like that on the Blair decoys.
Original paint with moderate gunning wear and head is a replacement.
