Description

68-piece Copeland Spode England stoneware dinner service in the Independence pattern, featuring a patriotic Early American-inspired design. The set is decorated with red and blue shields, crests, swags, and banded motifs on a white glaze, finished with gold trim. Each piece is marked Copeland Spode England Fine Stone Independence. The service includes (11) 10-inch dinner plates, (11) 8-inch dessert plates, (8) 8-inch soup bowls, (12) 6-inch bread and butter plates, (7) 7-inch berry bowls, (9) 2.5-inch cups, and (8) 5.5-inch saucers. Accompanying serving pieces include a rectangular vegetable dish (approx. 12 x 9 inches), a squared handled serving platter (approx. 10 x 9.5 inches), a covered casserole (approx. 6 x 11 x 8 inches), a creamer (approx. 5 x 6 x 3 inches), and a lidded sugar bowl (approx. 4.5 x 4 x 6 inches).

Condition: Good overall antique condition having typical surface wear consistant with age and use.
