Vintage Fenton Silver Crest 3 horn epergne bowl with and large display underplate is in excellent condition. NO chips, cracks etc. The underplate is 12 ½” diameter, bowl is 4 ½” height by 11 ½” in diameter. Total height is approximately 12”- horns are 10" length. This pattern was produced from 1942 – 1986 and then Discontinued. The under plate with this Epergne is most likely what Fenton called a sandwich plate the difference is the sandwich plate was 11 5/8 inches this is 12 ½”. This was designed as a sandwich plate with a metal handle (was larger). However, it looks great as an underplate and adds just a touch of elegance to the Epergne.
