When fully wound about eight 1/2 key turns clock will run approximately 2-1/2 days, so it is technically a one-day clock.
Pendulum must be hung by removing back clock panel. This is a two person operation due to need to lay clock flat. To remove back lay clock on its face on a towel or other soft surface, carefully making sure cuckoo door is held closed so it isn’t damaged. Unhook the roof hooks to remove panel, pull away from clock at roof with finger in hanging hole. The panel is very snug to case. Carefully hang pendulum and rod on leader attached to clock. Support pendulum assembly as if it was hanging on wall until clock is vertical to prevent damage to hanger and spring. Mount pendulum rod so the set screw on pendulum bob faces forward when clock is mounted to wall. Reinstall back panel securing both roof hooks. While mounting back panel and clock to wall be careful not to manipulate the pendulum and rod in such a way as to damage suspension spring at top of suspension leader.
Once clock is secured to wall it can be wound and pendulum started. Once clock is centered and beat even secure lower case mount to prevent clock from tipping side ways when glass door is opened. If clock runs fast or slow pendulum bob can be adjusted once lock screw is relieved.
If the strike does not match the hands the strike can be advanced by actuating the strike correction lever. Facing clock, right side access door is used to depress the strike correction lever which will allow realignment of hour-half hour sequence and to advance strike to match hour hand. Lever can be pressed by inserting finger in access door opening. Press once and allow clock to finish cycle before pressing again.
