Description
Original chromolithographic poster, printed by Imprimerie Moullot, Marseille. Created by artist David Dellepiane (French, b. Italy, 1866-1932) for the P.L.M. railway company, promoting travel to the Provence region of France. Printed in color on paper, highlighting locations with inset views of La Sainte baume, Saint-Remy-les Baux, Toulon, La seyne-sur-Mer and Tamaris. Beautifully matted and framed under acrylic in silk matt and gilt fillet, sight size apprx 40 x 28 inches, as framed apprx 51 x 39 inches.
Not inspected out of framing; does not appear to be paid on canvas or backing, however tipped at corners to back matting as you can see undulations in paper. There are olf visible creases in paper, however minimal. very nice condition.
