Early 19th century boxwood netsuke of an unhappy one polishing a huge mirror with a stiff brush. Wonderful distressed face, good definition of the muscles of its limbs, nicely carved tiger skin pants texture. Beautiful patina, pleasant to handle. Diameter 1.26 inches.
